Whitesands

Whitesands Beach

Whitesands is a stunningly beautiful beach and very difficult to leave until you’ve watched the sun go down and see all the stars come out!

When the tide goes out it reveals a huge sandy beach.

Lifeguards keep watch on swimmers and surfers during high season when it can get busy.

There is a cafe good for chips, cake and hot choc just when you need it. They also sell beach essentials.

If you want to learn to surf there are usually surf schools based at the beach. Out of season you’ll need to go into St Davids to organise this.

There is a great walk, not too strenuous, to the top of Carn Llidi, the hill overlooking the beach which has spectacular views in all directions.

Parking costs £5. Dog restrictions apply between 1st May and 30th September.
